How to Save a Seat for Limited-Capacity Sessions at UNBOUND 2026

How to Save a Seat for Limited-Capacity Sessions at UNBOUND 2026
There’s a lot to see, learn, and experience at UNBOUND 2026, with sessions spanning tactical deep dives, hands-on learning, community conversations, and more. While many sessions are open to attendees without a reservation, some experiences have limited capacity. For those, you’ll need to Save a Seat once reservations open for your ticket type.

The best way to get ready is to use our Agenda Builder to explore the program and map out the sessions you want to prioritize before reservations open. Then, when it’s time to Save a Seat, we recommend heading to unbound.com/agenda for the easiest way to manage your schedule pre-event.

Away from your computer? You’ll also be able to Save a Seat through the UNBOUND mobile app once reservations are open for your ticket type.

Here’s how to get ready and what to do when it’s go time.

Mark Your Calendar: When Session Reservations Open

Seats for limited-capacity sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and access opens based on your UNBOUND 2026 ticket type.

VIP ticket holders: August 25 at 11 AM ET
General Admission ticket holders: September 1 at 11 AM ET

Which Sessions Require You to Save a Seat?

Limited-capacity sessions include:

On the agenda, these are marked with a “Limited Capacity” banner. If one of these sessions is part of your UNBOUND plan, you’ll want to return to it once your reservation window opens and secure an available seat.

How to Save a Seat on Desktop

For the smoothest experience, we recommend using the UNBOUND website.

If you’ve already built your schedule, we’ll make it easy to focus on the limited-capacity sessions you’ve selected so you can prioritize saving seats when your reservation window opens.

1. Head to the Agenda and Sign In
Go to unbound.com/agenda.

Sign in with the email address and ticket number associated with your UNBOUND registration. Need to find your ticket number? Search your inbox for "Registration Confirmation to UNBOUND 2026."

2. Review the Limited-Capacity Sessions Already on Your Schedule
If you’ve been planning ahead, we’ll highlight the limited-capacity sessions already on your schedule and prompt you to save your seats.

This gives you a quick, focused view of the sessions you’ve already prioritized so you can work through your reservations without searching for each one again.
3. Select “Save a Seat”
For each limited-capacity session you want to attend, click Save a Seat to secure an available spot.

Note: Add to Schedule and Save a Seat are two different actions on desktop. Add to Schedule helps you plan your personal UNBOUND agenda and is available whether or not a limited-capacity session still has seats.

Save a Seat reserves your spot and is only actionable while reservation capacity remains.
You will see a confirmation message that your seat has been saved.
4. If a Session Fills While You’re Reserving, Explore Your Alternatives
Seats can go quickly. If a session reaches capacity you'll be notified that the session is full.
But, while you’re trying to save your seat, we’ll help you find alternative sessions to consider.
And remember, a full session doesn’t necessarily mean you have to remove it from your plans. You can still add it to your schedule and plan to try the standby line onsite. More on standby below.

Haven’t built your schedule yet? That's okay. You can still jump in when reservations open. From the Agenda, you can filter for limited-capacity sessions that still have availability and focus on securing the experiences you’re most interested in.

Or, use Agenda Builder to create a personalized three-day plan and then Save a Seat for the limited-capacity sessions it recommends.

How to Save a Seat in the UNBOUND Mobile App

Away from your computer when reservations open? You can also use the UNBOUND mobile app to secure an available seat.

In the mobile app experience there isn’t a separate Save a Seat action. For limited-capacity sessions, Add to Schedule also saves your seat, so there’s no additional reservation step.

Note: you’ll only be able to select Add to Schedule in the app for any session once reservation access opens for your ticket type (August 25 for VIP and September 1 for General Admission).

1. Download and log into the app.

2. Browse or search the agenda to find the limited-capacity session you want to attend.
If you’ve already built your schedule on desktop, it will sync to the mobile app once you’ve downloaded the app and logged in.

3. Tap “Add to Schedule.”
That one action does both: Adds the session to your personal schedule and savees your seat.

There’s no second reservation step and no separate Save a Seat button to look for in the mobile app.
If a limited-capacity session fills up, you’ll see Standby in the app.

You can still plan to attend, but you won’t have a saved seat. Instead, you’ll need to join the standby line onsite for a chance to attend.

Build Your Schedule Before Reservations Open

Don’t wait until August 25 or September 1 to decide which sessions you want to attend. Before your window opens, head to the Agenda page. From there, you can browse the full agenda and add sessions yourself, or select Build My Schedule to use Agenda Builder.

Agenda Builder pulls information from your registration to create a personalized three-day schedule based on your role, goals, and priorities. You can review its recommendations, see why sessions were selected for you, swap out sessions, adjust your preferences, or ask it to fill open spots in your schedule.

It also builds recommendations around your existing schedule so it won’t recommend sessions that overlap with something already on your calendar.

Whichever way you plan, the important part for Save a Seat is the same: adding a limited-capacity session to your schedule does not reserve it.

Once your reservation window opens, return to your existing schedule and confirm your spot in the limited-capacity sessions you want to attend.

Planning on desktop also has another benefit: after you download the UNBOUND mobile app and log in, your schedule will sync to the app, making it easier to take your plans with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if the session I want is full?
Limited-capacity sessions can fill quickly, especially when reservations first open. If your first choice is full, you still have options.

  • Check back. Attendee plans can change, which means seats may become available again.
  • Have a backup ready. When you’re building your schedule ahead of reservation day, look at other sessions happening during the same time slot that you’d be excited to attend.
  • Keep exploring. Limited-capacity sessions are only one part of the UNBOUND experience, with plenty of other programming happening throughout all three days.
  • Try standby onsite. If a limited-capacity session reaches capacity, you can still plan to attend by joining the standby line onsite. Note: Standby is not a waitlist. Adding a full session to your schedule or seeing Standby does not put you in a queue or guarantee entry. It just allows you to keep the session in your plans and try the onsite standby line.

What if my plans changed and I no longer want the seat I saved?
If you’ve saved a seat and later decide to attend something else, release your reservation so another attendee has the opportunity to join. A quick schedule update can open the door for someone else to attend a session that’s high on their list.

What if I arrive late to a limited-capacity session?
If you saved a seat for a session but do not arrive at the least 5 minutes before the session start time, your seat will be released to the Standby line.
